S'mores Bars Heaven!

What do you do when you can't have a fire pit for S'mores because of a burn ban? Make S'mores Bars in the oven - and they are heavenly! My family loved them so much, I might have to make a double batch next time!

Smores Bars


  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers

  • 1 heaping cup mini-marshmallows, plus 2 tbsp for top

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips, plus 2 tbsp for top


  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. Line 8"x8" baking pan with aluminum foil, spray with nonstick oil.

  3. Melt butter in microwave, approx. 45 seconds

  4. Let butter cool slightly, then whisk egg, brown sugar, salt, vanilla.

  5. Add flour and mix till just combined.

  6. Gently fold in marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate.

  7. Pour in pan, smoothing out top.

  8. Add additional bits of marshmallows and chocolate to top of batter. Push in ever so slightly.

  9. Bake for 25 minutes, until bars have firmed up on edges.

  10. Let bars cool for at least 30 minutes and enjoy the gooeyness!!!
